I am Christine Kuriah and I am delighted to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a passionate individual who champions causes that promote social justice and equality, women’s rights, civil rights and democracy especially within marginalized communities. For over two decades, I have worked for and/or partnered with organizations around the globe including Kenya and the US to bring my strategic planning, operations and systems development/management and resource mobilization expertise to both the non-profit and public service sectors in the Healthcare, Education, Affordable Housing,  Advocacy and Community Development fields. Some of these organizations include Kenya Red Cross Society, Global Fund, SNV Netherlands Development Organization (SNV Kenya), Mastercard Foundation, KCDF (Kenya Community Development Foundation), Kenya Wildlife Conservancies Association, Las Trampas, Alameda Point Collaborative, Monument Impact, My Philanthropy Team in California USA, among others.

I hold a Master of Public Administration degree from California State University, East Bay (summa cum laude), specializing in Public Management and Health Care Administration and a B.Sc. degree in Psychology from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. 

Now, I am excited to use some of my professional skills and experience as a Misionando Team member so that I can help advance and promote more great causes to do the critical work necessary to change our world for the better. I am honored to be a part of this wonderful organization.
